Martin framed OutSystems’ mission around empowering developers, IT leaders, and innovators to thrive in an AI-first world. “AI isn’t replacing developers,” he emphasised. “It’s amplifying them.” OutSystems’ focus, he explained, is to provide a unified, intelligent, and human-centred platform that helps organisations build securely, scale confidently, and innovate continuously.

2. A unified platform for the future

Martin announced a significant milestone: OutSystems 11 (O11) support will be extended indefinitely, with the platform now unified with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC). This move eliminates barriers between the two environments, allowing O11 users to seamlessly share data, services, and APIs with ODC.

• Interoperability between O11 and ODC applications.
• Entitlements and licenses can now be used interchangeably.
• Production-ready ODC environments are available to all customers in good standing.
• Free private personal editions of ODC are open to all developers.

Global semiconductor manufacturer Infineon is already using both platforms to run 400+ applications for 70,000 users, proving the model’s enterprise scalability.

3. Agent Workbench: Scaling AI without the chaos

One of the most anticipated unveilings was the OutSystems Agent Workbench, now generally available to customers. Martin described it as the answer to the question: “How do enterprises scale agentic AI safely?”

The Workbench provides:

• A unified environment for the entire AI agent lifecycle – from design to deployment.
• Centralised governance and visibility, ensuring accountability and reducing AI “hallucinations.”
• Built-in collaboration tools that keep humans in the loop and enhance oversight.

Enterprises are already using it to reimagine business processes:

• Axo Bank built a multi-agent loan origination system to streamline approvals.
• Travel Essence created the “Dream Machine,” an AI-driven travel planner that cuts itinerary creation from two hours to two minutes.

To accelerate adoption, OutSystems is offering customers who deploy a live AI agent in 2025 lifetime entitlement to the Agent Workbench for the duration of their current contract.

4. Mentor: The AI partner for developers

Martin also unveiled new capabilities for Mentor, OutSystems’ AI-driven development assistant. Now fully conversational, Mentor allows developers to describe applications in natural language and instantly generate detailed blueprints, user interfaces, and even deployable code.

Key enhancements include:

• Natural language interaction for building and refining apps.
• Integration into ODC Studio as an AI pair programmer for complex tasks.
• Enhanced UI design tools for modern, production-ready applications.

Axo Bank is already leveraging Mentor to create realtor-facing apps and automate tasks like generating pre-approval letters, showing how human creativity and AI intelligence can work side by side.
