Front-end for OutSystems Developers is a thorough, hands-on 1-week program showing how to build interactive, responsive apps. The program comprises UX/UI basics, Front-End Development, Front-End Debugging, and Live Style Guide modules.

Curriculum

Front-End Development

The Front-End Development module addresses the fundamentals of front-end development in OutSystems, including the OutSystems UI, CSS and JavaScript usage, UI customisation including themes and patterns, and front-end architecture.

UX/UI Basics

This module explores the basics of UX/UI topics with the support of guided exercises. The main goal is to understand the concepts, processes and pitfalls of creating an excellent User Experience.

Front-End Debugging

The Front-End Debugging module teaches the basics of using the browser console to help front-end developers inspect and debug CSS, HTML and JavaScript code, supported by practical examples and exercises.

Front-End Consolidation

This hands-on module consolidates the previously learned concepts to create a tailored branding of a fully-responsive simple live style guide, developed as an OutSystems module to be used directly by developers.
